First DRYLAND project field activities and LOOP regular monitoring – April 2026

April 2026: first DRYLAND field activities were carried out at Pleta de Molières, including site inspection and initial GHG flux measurements.

The April 2026 field campaign included our regular biogeochemical water sampling, a site inspection for the recently launched DRYLAND project, and the first chamber-based greenhouse gas (GHG) flux measurements in the Pleta de Molières peatland and adjacent mineral soils. During our stay at the High Mountain Research Station (ECAM), we also had the opportunity to discuss the next steps of the DRYLAND project with colleagues from the CREAF, CEAB, and IDAEA.
